MARGARET ROBB DYKES Mrs. Margaret Robb Dykes, 90, of Liberty, MO, died Wednesday, October 23, 2001, at the Pleasant Valley Manor. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, at the Tutt Chapel of Second Baptist Church in Liberty. Burial in Antioch Cemetery in Holt, MO. The family will greet friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Church-Archer-Pasley Chapel in Liberty, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Second Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dykes was born October 26, 1910 in Randolph County, MO. She had lived most of her life in Liberty. She attended William Jewell College in Liberty, where she earned her teaching degree. She taught at the Gordon Country School near Liberty and later taught first and second grades at Franklin School in Liberty for 35 years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Liberty and active in her Sunday School class. She was a member of the William Jewell College Alumni Association and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. She was an honorary member of Alpha Delta Kappa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie Logan (Stark) Robb and Robert Cleveland Robb; a brother, Lewis S. Robb; and her husband, Irl Dykes. Surviving is a daughter and son- in-law, Irlene and Kirk Kennedy of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister-in-law, Edna Robb of Lee's Summit, MO; a niece, Lorrie Niday of Lee's Summit, MO; and a cousin-in-law, David Allbee of Liberty, MO.
