Joe and I have been married 44 years and have 3 children.  Patty, age 43, Kathy, age 42 and Tim, age 38.  Patty is not married.  Her wedding plans were interrupted by Hurricane Katrina and the U.S. Army.  Kathy is married and has two children, Hillary, age 14 and Taylor, age 12. She and David live in Liberty.  Tim is married and has two children, Tyler, age 11 and Madison, age 7.  He and Laura live in Lathrop.  My mother, age 90, is living at Cedars of Liberty, an assisted living facility.  My father passed away 7 years ago at the age of 91.  My younger sister, Kathy passed away in 1960.

Joe and I have traveled to The Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska, and Spain and throughout much of the United States.  It was our hope to spend our retirement traveling (via a travel trailer) throughout the United States, Canada and Alaska.   

However, we changed those plans due to health problems, sold our home and moved to Excelsior Springs - yes, I said Excelsior Springs.  We have an earth contact home with no steps, small yard and large deck, so we can still entertain all of you.  And, really guys it is not that bad living in Excelsior Springs.  

At the time of this writing I still work two days a week, but plan to retire in March of 2006.  Joe retired in the mid nineties after a work related accident.  We enjoy watching our grandchildren participate in baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, football and karate. 

So, there you have it, my life for the last fifty years.  What a great 13 years we had attending school together.  It was a wonderful time to be young and we were all outstanding Bluejays!
