Charles Burgess "Burg"

Shortly after graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for three years, married and started a family.  After my discharge, I went to work in the trucking industry spending thirty-eight years as an over the road driver, retiring in 1998.

 My wife and I had five children, four girls and one boy and I now have eleven grandchildren.  I have remarried to my wife Marcia and have two stepchildren and three step grandchildren.  One granddaughter graduated from High School and five are presently in the Liberty School System.

My wife and I enjoy long motor cycle trips.  I have ridden in forty states and Canada on a Harley Davidson, of course.  I also build street rods and enjoy showing the cars.  My biggest thrill was my first sky dive at the age of 67.
