In addition to 1996 and 2001 info:

I went to LasVegas in 2001; first and only time there. Really enjoyed it.  Went to Nashville, Tennessee in 2002; did a lot of sight seeing around Nashville.  Also went to Dollywood one day.

This school year (05-06) got to retire from being taxi cab driver, teacher and settler (ha, ha) for William, youngest grandchild.

Joined the Ballard Red Hatters.

2001

My family is about the same as '96. I lost my husband Nov.4, 1995. My two older boys still have their rough-in carpenter company, Jimmy Jr. and Charles. Arlene went back to work at Peterson's in Grandview. Harold works for his brothers.

Jimmy Jr. lost his wife in Feb. 2000, she was only 38 years old. Left 2 boys one that is 18 now, graduating out of high school, Jimmy lll. The other one William turned 8 in December, so guess who gets to help take care of them.

Charles and Julie have three of theirs out of high school, Becky works at AT&T in Lee's Summit and goes to Longview college. Bobbi hasn't settled down yet to one job, she can't decide what she wants to do. She has a little girl, Audrey turned 4 in Feb. (Great Grand Daughter)

Charles Jr. is working for a construction company in Pleasant Hill, MO. Jake is a Junior in Pleasant Hill. Arlene is still with her love but not married yet. Harold is with me and unmarried, he helps me with livestock.

My retirement plans are to do a little traveling. Have already been to Washington. Planning to go to Las Vegas this fall. Then next year (2002) planning to go to California, if health permits. I am a cancer survivor as of Oct 99.

1996

Jimmy Jr. is married, has two boys Jimmy III and William.  Charles is married, has two girls and two boys Becky, Bobbi, Charlie and Jake.  Becky just graduated from High School, May 19, 1996; Arlene isn't married, works at Peterson Mfg. in Grandview.  Harold isn't married, works for his brothers, they have their own rough-in carpentry company (Greer Construction ... Advertising plug!  Ha Ha)

CAREER AND SPOUSE'S CAREER

I haven't worked out much.  Worked at Western, back in early 70's, tupperware demonstrator and House of Lloyds Demo, worked at Wal-Mart, but mostly worked at home.  Helped Jim farm and with the cattle while he worked out.

Jim retired from General Motors with 30+ years Feb. 1, '93.  He worked most of it at Delco Battery in Olathe, KS.  I quit working at Thorco in Butler Jan.  '96 to take care of Jim's cattle and our 2 places.

Jim passed away November 4, 1995.

PLANS FOR RETIREMENT

I want to do some traveling.  Enjoy grandkids and do a lot of fishing, take life easy, but don't think I will be taking life easy for a while.

HOBBIES

I do Ceramics, have 2 kilns, bunch of molds, etc.  Also sew, cook and crochet, like to garden and plant flowers everywhere.

OTHER
