Following twenty years in the Navy I spent the remainder of my working career in law enforcement. I spent four years as a guard at the California San Quentin maximum security prison. I returned to Missouri and worked with the Clay County Sheriff's department for a few years, then entered private security service. I retired in July 2000.
I've had the Lazy "W" Farm ranch since 1984 and raise Angus cattle. I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and have been undergoing treatment. I'm feeling pretty good and plan to attend the Sunday reunion activity
