Married Nancy Ryan, June 1962 – divorced in October 2004.
Lisa, born June 1964, married Steve Pacelli, March 1994. They have two children, Cassie born June 1996 and Nick born June 1998. They live in Ringwood, NJ. Lisa works about 30 hours per week for an attorney. She is an elder in the local Presbyterian Church, Junior Girl Scout leader, room mother, and football team mother. Steve is a pilot for Continental Airlines.
Craig, born April 1966, married Sarah Heatwole, August 1995. They have two children, Alex born September 1997 and Andrew born November 2000. They live in Sun Prairie, WI. Craig owns his own printing and copy business. He is a mentor in the local Methodist Church, and coaches’ soccer, baseball, and football. Sarah is a stay-at-home mom.
Scott, born August 1968 is unmarried. He lives in Burnsville, MN. He drives a delivery truck.
Work/Activities/Interests
I joined The Valspar Corporation in October 1965 and moved to their Minneapolis office in August 1979. My current position is Senior Internal Auditor. I retired from the Air Force Reserve in May 1995, with the rank of Colonel.
I still run/race at a completive level, in the 65-69 age group. Since turning the magic age of 65 I’ve won fourteen National Masters Championships. In February of 2004, my 3,000-meter time of 10:15.13 was 73/100 of a second off the American Record. Last year Running Times Magazine listed me as 65-69 Runner of the Year, Honorable Mention.
I’m still into reading, US Civil War history, listening to Jazz, 50’s era cars and international travel. When time permits, I’d like to start flying again (I got a private pilot’s license in the 60’s) and get a short-wave radio (I obtained an Amateur Extra HAM radio license in 2000).
