Ronald Ray McCoy, 68, of Kansas City North, passed away
January 26, 2007. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 2, and
funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, at the Park Lawn Northland
Chapel, I-35 at M-291 Hwy. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests memorials to Grace Hospice, 9200 Ward Parkway,
#410, Kansas City, MO 64114 or to Nebo Baptist Church, 1117 Wellington Way,
Liberty, MO 64068. Ron was born June 30, 1938 in Liberty, MO, the only child of
Herbert Ray and Bessie Marie (Foster) McCoy. He was a lifelong Clay County
resident. Ron was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Liberty for 33
years. He was a member of Nebo Baptist Church. He also was an avid league bowler
at Gladstone Bowl. Ron bowled ten 300 games during his life. He also was a
baseball enthusiast. He leaves his wife, Mary Lou McCoy, of the home; three
children Ronald Eugene McCoy, Susan Kay Lane and husband Paul, and Sandra Ray
Crowl and husband Bill; two step-daughters, Rhonda Manichia and husband Ted and
Lisa Markey. He also leaves eight grandchildren, other relatives and many
