Carolyn Lee (Shubert) Zink, 75, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2017 at her home in Liberty, MO. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Carol's life at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, May 13, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Carol was born July 8, 1941, in Liberty, MO, the youngest of four children of William "Roy" and Mary (McKarnin) Shubert.  She was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School.  Carol  retired in 2003 from the North Kansas City School District.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Zink.  Survivors include her sons, Doug Zink (Jacque) and Dan Zink (Denise); siblings, Betty Teegarden, Ed Shubert (Thelma) and Nancy McKinley; grandchildren, Calvin Zink, Tiffany Zink and Daniel Zink, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
