Donald C. Crawford, 1932-1996, Born in Liberty, LHS class of 1950, graduated from UM Columbia in 1955, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Worked at FMC Corp. for 37 years; mostly in Green Bay, WI. Left behind a professional legacy of over 100 US and foreign patents for them. Don was ill for 4 months with cancer brought on by unknown asbestos exposure which was diagnosed as Malignent Mesothelioma. He left behind his wife, Diane of 30 years and two wonderful children, Brian and Amy who made him very proud.  He was also survived by brothers, Wiley Clyde, William Norton and sister Joanna Crawford. His ashes are at the Crawford plot in the Fairview Cemetary in Liberty, MO..
