It is with the greatest sympathy that we announce the passing of Donald E. Warren this week. He and his wife, Bonnie, have lived in Monte Vista for the
Past 18 years (space #1011). A loving husband for 55 years, father of 4, grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 8, he was also a wonderful friend
to many. Although he loved playing pickle ball the most, he was involved in many activities in the park over the years, such as: organizing golf cart
parades, jeep club, playing Santa Claus (mid 90's), playing cards, lawn bowling, softball, tennis, golf, water volleyball, silvers smiting, lapidary,
woodshop monitor, volunteer security host, and handyman. Known for his quick wit and humorous jokes, Don always entertained us.
He enjoyed having bonfires at Usery Park, sharing stories. He also travelled the U.S. and the world over but his heart belonged to Monte Vista.
