Fred Lee Isenhour, 78, a lifelong Liberty resident, passed away March 25, 2017, at his home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, and service 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, both at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial will follow in the Missouri City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Nebo Baptist Church, PO Box 677, Liberty, MO 64069 or to the Missouri City Cemetery Association, c/o Brenda McCoy, 8812 Stillhouse Road, Liberty, MO 64068. Fred was born July 9, 1938, in Clay County, MO, the youngest of five children of James Edward and Effie Lee (McCoy) Isenhour. Along with his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his siblings, James Isenhour, Jr., Virginia "Polly" Gassman, Betty Thomas and Peggy Spencer. Fred graduated from Liberty High School and farmed all his working life. He was a member of Nebo Baptist Church and served on the boards of the Clay County Farm Bureau, Clay-Ray County FSA and Water District #5. Survivors include wife, Ruth; daughter, Debra Lee Reeves; grandchildren, Lukas Reeves (Courtney), Hanna Lee (Jon) and Rebecca Hermann (Drew); and great granddaughter, Ruby Lee. Fred also leaves Ruth's son, David Tucker (Katrina) and their children, Jael, Tekla, Saoirse and Mordecai; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. It's hard to believe all the classmates who came to either the visitation or
funeral....sent cards, phone calls, etc. You guys are amazing and very much
appreciated. So glad to be a part of your lives. Keep it up 'cause you do make a
difference in people's lives.
