Karen J. (Thomason) Hopwood. May 1, 1936 to November 17, 2009 Karen J. Hopwood, age 73, passed away at home in Hemet. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, she was a longtime resident of San Diego. She is survived by her children Jan Sims, Daniel Hopwood, Nanci Hayward, Brian Hop-wood, Renee Sullivan and David Hopwood, sister Sharon Partney, brothers Allen and Gentry Thomason and eight grandchildren Services at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Thursday, December 10th, at 11:00 a.m.
