WILLIS, LEON FRED was born Dec. 14, 1934 and left us on July 15, 2009. Born in Washington, AR to Irma Ruth Barber Willis and Leon Fredrick Willis Sr., Fred spent his early years in the southwest. Fred moved to Liberty, MO in 1950 where he participated in football, basketball and track. After graduating from Missouri University, he spent 1957 to 59 in the Army. Fred lived in San Diego, CA as a Sea World executive until moving to Orlando in 1985 with the company. After Sea World, he went on to several business ventures including establishing his own successful company, Universal Truck Parts. Fred is survived by his two children, Stacy Willis of San Diego, CA ;and son, Leon Fred Willis III of Orlando, FL; a sister Jimmie Carpenter of Independence, MO; and brother Johnny Willis of Reed Springs, MO. He is also survived by many friends who loved him dearly and will miss his laughter, kindness, generosity, and love of life. Heaven is lucky to have this man. A Celebration of His Life will be held at his home on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 4:30 p.m. on. All friends are welcome to come and share memories of an extraordinary man and of course, toast him with his signature Coors.
