A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Walter Kelley has been set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Faubion Methodist Church 7113 N. Troost Ave. Kansas City, MO 64118. Walter A. Kelley, 84, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Monday, April 24, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was under the care of Ascend Hospice at The Gardens at Barry Road. Walter served in the United States Army Reserve during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He started his lifelong career with Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO at the age of 18; retired in 1991 after 34 years of dedicated service. He will forever be remembered as a fun and loving father, husband and grandfather. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kelley in 2021 and both parents. He is survived by his four children: Nancy Cavigilione; Paula Weaver; Steve Kelley and Mike Kelley; Patricia’s children: Chris Alber and Kathy Asala; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
